认识海外中国研究中的市民社会研究:关于范式问题的再思考

摘要

作为政治社会学研究的理论基础,市民社会问题研究对于解释当代中国在社会转型时期发生的一系列政治、经济与思想变迁具有显著的现实意义。本文旨在系统地回顾和梳理海外中国研究中有关该问题的主要理论范式,包括自由主义、中国中心范式和文化领导权范式,并通过评述以上范式的特点和适用性来对今后的研究做出展望。本文认为,海外中国市民社会研究面临的最大问题有二:第一,不同学派之间出于对理论适用性的分歧而无法有效沟通;第二,海外中国研究的知识生产基于不平等的权力关系之上,这导致一些理论范式边缘化。
